LYSAGHT SMARTDEK is an innovative “W” profiled deck panel that offers a wider cover per weight of steel, making it ideal for use as permanent formwork in conventional slabs and as bottom tensile reinforcement in composite slab designs. Its 51mm rib provides exceptional strength, allowing for excellent spanning capacities with minimal deflection. This ensures a safe working platform during construction while also reducing concrete volumes for enhanced cost-effectiveness.
The embossments on the top flange of SMARTDEK create excellent mechanical interlocking between the steel and concrete, making it particularly well-suited for composite slab construction.
